KENNEWICK -- Kamiakin may not have the flashy playmakers from a year ago, but that doesn't mean the Braves offense is any less impressive.

Junior quarterback Jason Hutchison made his home debut Friday in spectacular fashion and running back Zach Umemoto was strong once again, as the Braves ripped Moses Lake 37-21 in a nonleague matchup at Lampson Stadium.

"We don't have the big-play receivers, but we have a lot of players that do their job," Hutchison said. "We run the ball really well, and now we can go 50-50."

The Braves did a little bit of everything correctly offensively against Moses Lake, as Hutchison threw for four touchdowns and 210 yards. Umemoto chewed up 163 yards on the ground -- 121 in the second half -- and Jesse Houser added a 91-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
